Chaplain Harry Richardson serves as chaplain for Geauga County Jail through the ministry of Good News Jail and Prison Ministry. Chaplain Harry has a heart for the inmates and their families to receive a full pardon through the blood of Christ. We are blessed to be able to support Chaplain Harry in his calling.
Dean and Jen Carlo of Youth for Christ have served teens since May of 1999. Their desire to reach teens is grounded in 1 Corinthians 9:22, “I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.” CCF has seen the fruit of their labors and is honored to be able to sow into their ministry each month.
CCF joins with Youth for Christ Cleveland and six local churches to create one BIG youth ministry in Chardon, promoting unity in the Body of Christ and reaching out to unchurched and unsaved youth in our city.
|The vision for Crave 631 Youth Ministries is to invite youth to experience God, provide insight and growth into their relationship with God and ignite their faith in God into action in their community.|
More info to come.
Mapleview Country Villa:
CCF ministers the second Sunday of each month at Mapleview Country Villa in Chardon. It is our privilege to share the Word, a time of singing and fellowship to the residents.
Annual Arts Festival Outreach:
CCF gives out free water during the annual Chardon Arts Festival in August. We typically share more than 1,500 bottles of icy cold water! Meeting this practical need on a hot day many times gives opportunity to share about the Living Water that only Jesus Christ can give.
Across the Globe:
Jacob and Jaya Beera have been “Bringing the Hope of Jesus to India since 1979” through Hope Ministries. The Beera’s minister Christ’s love to their homeland through crusades, church plants and children’s homes. We are thrilled to support this thriving ministry and to welcome Jacob and Jaya to CCF when they are in the USA.
Pastor Wayne and Sherry Sanders travel to eastern Europe twice a year to conduct marriage seminars and offer personal counseling to the pastors and their wives. While not supported directly from the CCF budget, the church family supports them through personal gifts as well as prayer. When the Sanders go to eastern Europe, CCF goes to eastern Europe! Read all about the Sanders’ trips at http://www.bridgebuildersccf.blogspot.com.
Both Roger and Robin Harsh smuggled Bibles and Christian literature into Central and Eastern Europe under Communism in the 1980’s, though they never met during that time. Roger and Robin have been working full time in the Czech Republic since 1991. They met while serving as single missionaries. They were married in Prague on November 4th, 1995 and now have two children, Elizabeth and Josiah. In 2005 the Harsh family relocated from Prague, where they lived for many years, to Plzen, Czech Republic. Since that time they have been working with YWAM (Youth With A Mission).
CCF ministers in Ukraine, Romania, Georgia and Latvia by sending Pastor Wayne and Sherry to conduct marriage seminars and couple’s counseling as well as city-wide events that build relationships and unity among the local churches. Pastor Wayne and Sherry also hold Skype conferences for churches overseas providing training for pastors and their wives, congregational teaching and youth specific messages. CCF family members continue to give generously to our Eastern European brothers and sisters during times of war, natural disaster and daily need.
